What we certify
AIS and BABA, in practice
Two different requirements appear in most federally funded pump specifications. Here is how each is handled.
American Iron and Steel (AIS)
Common on Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund projects. We supply a signed manufacturer's certificate identifying the pump package, the project, and the iron and steel products produced in the United States, issued with the order and repeated on request for the record set.
Build America, Buy America (BABA)
Broader than AIS: it also reaches manufactured products and construction materials. Coverage depends on the exact configuration — drive, enclosure, controls and bought-in components — so we confirm in writing, per quote, what the proposed build can be certified to.
Domestic manufacture statement
Every submittal package we issue carries a statement of manufacture at our Houston facility, with the address and the serial numbers covered.
Where we will not guess
If a component in your requested configuration cannot be certified, we say so at the quote stage and propose an alternative build, rather than certify something we cannot support.

- Certificate of domestic manufacture, with serial numbers

- Certified performance curve at the specified duty point

- Warranty statement and recommended spare-part list
Certification scope is confirmed per order and per project before manufacture.
