Pump selector
Give us the duty point — flow, total dynamic head, what you are moving and how big the solids are — and we will show the AMCO diesel or electric models that cover it, with curves and data sheets. Every selection is confirmed by our engineering team before it is quoted.
Enter a flow and head to see recommendations, or compare the full pump line.
How the selector works
What we check behind the numbers
The selector is a first pass. These are the checks our engineers run before a model is confirmed.
Solids passage
The largest sphere the impeller will pass, against the trash, rag and grit content of your fluid.
Suction conditions
Static lift, hose run and NPSH available — auto-prime and self-prime pumps behave very differently at high lift.
System curve
Friction loss through your discharge line, so the pump runs in its efficient band rather than at the end of the curve.
Drive & site
Diesel or electric, sound attenuation, auto start/stop, telemetry and fuel or power availability on site.
